What are the starting salaries for university graduate entries?

The salaries established for employment contracts at Porsche AG are based on the collective agreement for the metalworking industry. The individual remuneration structure is based on the employee's qualifications and experience.

Individual, performance- and results-based salary components ensure fair remuneration that is attractive in comparison with our competitors.

Will a lack of professional experience in my application work against me?

In general, a lack of professional experience will not prevent you from being hired. As a rule, university graduates already have professional experience through completed internships or prior vocational training.

What jobs at Porsche are available to someone who has my degree or specialisation?

You can start directly in just about any company department. We are looking in particular for employees with a technical or business focus. The numerous interfaces in the company is also increasing the need for industrial engineers.

How long does the application process take?

As your application documents are forwarded to several offices within the company, it is difficult to make a general statement on this. However, you will receive a notification confirming receipt of your application. You may also receive updates on the status of your application.

Who can I specify as a contact person in my application?

If no personal contact person is indicated in the vacancy listing, simply send your documents to Porsche Personalmarketing (Human Resources Marketing).

Are internships paid?

Yes. The monthly wage for a mandatory internship that is required by your university is 1.100 Euro (free of social security contributions). For a voluntary internship the wage is 1.425 Euro. The net salaries are almost similar after compulsory deductions. The payment is equal for Bachelor and Master students.

Are there opportunities at Porsche for working students?

Yes. As a working student at Porsche, you can do practical training during the university term. There are opportunities available in just about all of the company's departments. At our Research & Development Centre in Weissach, for example.

Your working time is set individually to between 10 and 20 hours a week. It means that you can continue to gain theoretical knowledge. To put into practice.

Please apply for only one advertised internship. You may refer to other internship offers that interest you in your covering letter if you wish. Subject to your agreement, we will then gladly consider your application for other internship places that match your profile.

How can I get to the development center in Weissach?

The Porsche development center is located in Weissach, approximately 25 minutes by car away from the Porscheplatz in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Additionally a company shuttle bus is operating between the main plant in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and the development center in Weissach several times a day. Furthermore it can be reached with means of public transport.
